FHH News
Frank Hammond named National Blue Ribbon School

Frank H. Hammond Elementary was named when Secretary of Education Arne Duncan recognized 337 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2014 based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. These schools demonstrate that all students can achieve to high levels.

Welcome to Frank H. Hammond Elementary School!

The faculty and staff of Frank H. Hammond Elementary School welcome you and your family to our school community.  At Frank Hammond, learning is our chief priority.  Our mission is to develop strong relationships with families and community, so that all of our students will be motivated and empowered to achieve their personal best.

We are proud of the academic success of our students and we continue to strive to improve instruction through analysis of data; implementation of research based strategies such as Daily Five, 6 + 1 Writing Traits, and Inquiry Math; and differentiated instruction that addresses the individual needs of our students.

We encourage you to take an active part in your child's education.  The Frank H. Hammond PTO works hand in hand with the faculty and staff to support the academic and social programs that we implement on a daily basis.  They are always looking for parent volunteers to help support the many programs and events that they sponsor for us.
Please visit our website often.  Here you will find announcements, calendar updates, and links to various resources that will assist you in making your student’s academic experience at FHH the best it can be.
