The purpose of the Technology Department is to provide responsive, professional services to ensure that the educational mission is delivered as well as all other business operations within the School Town of Munster. Our department is committed to providing teachers, staff and students with a state-of-the-art infrastructure. We are consistently researching new, immerging tech tools so we can provide the best technological options to our teachers and students.
STM is teaming up with Canvas!
The School Town of Munster is excited to announce our transition from Blackboard and Google Classroom to Canvas as the new district-wide learning management system (LMS) for grades K-12. Canvas was chosen as the STM’s Learning Management System for its wide range of easy to use tools for teachers, students and parents. Canvas will allow our teachers and students to use our 1:1 technology more efficiently and more effectively. Canvas bundles assessments, grading state standards, messaging, learning data, and more—while keeping everything simple, easy, and in one place.
While we’re not quite ready to have parents register for Canvas, stay tuned as we will send out information to parents regarding how to access soon.
