Planned Synchronous Learning Days will be a normal school day for all staff members except bus drivers and bus aides.
- Bad weather as defined by the School Town of Munster is snow and ice resulting in unsafe, severe conditions NOT cold weather or extreme wind chills.
- Custodians and maintenance staff should report to work as soon as it is safe to do so. Work schedules may be adjusted to prioritize safety.
- General Education Instructional and Non-Instructional Assistants, building secretaries and all other classified staff who work 220 days or less will make up the day later in the semester.
- Teachers and Exceptional Achiever Instructional Assistants may have the option to work from home based on the severity of the circumstances. Each situation will be evaluated individually, and clear messaging will be provided to outline the specific format.
- Each school's Administration Team will share updates on after school activities by 1:00 PM on days when the school day format is adjusted.
