Our mission is to empower student voices and foster meaningful dialogue between the student body and the school district's leadership. Through this council, we aim to create a collaborative environment where students can actively contribute to the development of policies and initiatives that affect their educational experience.
About the SSAC
The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is a diverse group of students representing the entire district. Each member was selected through a rigorous application process, evaluated using a comprehensive rubric. These students will work directly with the Superintendent and other administrators to address key issues and propose innovative solutions.
Objectives
- Amplify Student Voices
Ensure that student perspectives are considered in decision-making processes at the district level. - Promote Equity and Inclusion
Advocate for policies that support equitable access to resources and opportunities for all students. - Enhance Communication
Facilitate open and effective communication between students and district leadership. - Encourage Leadership Development
